Over the next 25 years, I grew alongside Microsoft's ecosystem, mastering every major platform evolution from on-premise server farms to today's cloud-native, AI-powered enterprise.
Today, through CaetanoIT, I serve as a trusted senior advisor to organisations navigating their most complex Microsoft challenges — from large-scale SharePoint migrations and Power Platform governance to enterprise Microsoft 365 strategy and digital workplace transformation.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs — Netherlands
As Senior Functional Application Manager at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs I contribute to a secure, high-functioning digital workplace for one of the Netherlands' most sensitive government environments. I continuously optimise the ministry's business applications to keep pace with evolving user needs and security requirements — translating what users need into well-governed, accessible solutions. I manage the change budget, set priorities, monitor implementation quality, and ensure colleagues are trained and supported from day one on any new application. I proactively identify and resolve disruptions before they surface for users, minimising the operational impact on the ministry.

KAEFER BV
KAEFER BV was running their core staffing process — placing personnel on projects — on a single ageing SharePoint 2016 list shared across the entire organisation. With 2,000 employees' data living in one list used by multiple departments simultaneously, data privacy could no longer be guaranteed and the risks to business continuity were significant. I redesigned the entire primary process from the ground up on Office 365. I advised on the new architecture, designed and built the solution, migrated all data and documents to O365, and developed separate test and production environments. I also built Power Apps to support departmental processes and created Power Automate flows to automate key workflows — then documented everything and trained the teams across all affected departments.

WIGO4IT — Gemeenten Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht & Den Haag
WIGO4IT serves the four largest municipalities in the Netherlands — Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, and The Hague. The assignment had two distinct parts. First, I functionally translated an existing non-SharePoint DMS environment into a document management solution within WIGO4IT's SharePoint 2013 intranet, delivering the build using an Agile methodology and training users on the new DMS functionality. Second, I designed and built a ticket system in SharePoint 2013 enabling users to log tickets and complaints, with a full suite of functional requirements realised within the platform.
